Online Cricket Coaching: Fix Your Batting Technique
Stop practicing blindly. I use live video sessions to spot your technical errors, from stance to shot execution, and fix them with progressive, drill-based training in your own space.
During this online session with Dhruv from the USA, we work on skill improvisation. I explain how to adjust his footwork and body setup to find gaps in the field, turning good shots into boundaries by understanding the field placement.
Cricket is a mental game. Here, I am coaching Dhruv from the USA on mindset and game awareness. We discuss how to read the field, play with soft hands to rotate strike, and put pressure back on the bowler to create scoring opportunities.
Here is a clip from an online session with Yuvakshi, a talented 14-year-old player from the USA. I am providing real-time feedback on her front foot drive, focusing on keeping her head steady and achieving full hand extension for maximum power.
Age is just a number when you have passion. This is a look at my online coaching with 9-year-old Freya from the USA. We are using cone drills to improve her body balance and generate more power in her shots, building a strong foundation early on.
To master the inswinging ball, a batter needs quick hip rotation and a stable front foot landing. In this online session with Dhruv, we use advanced drills to improve his reaction time, concentration, and body mechanics for playing inswingers.
Here I am conducting an online session with two talented young players from Australia, Viraj and Shiv. I use competitive drills to improve their footwork, body balance, and reaction time, making the training session both effective and engaging.
This online session with 9-year-old Freya from the USA focuses on improving body balance while playing drives. Using simple drills, we work on keeping her body stable through the shot to ensure clean contact and better control.
In this online session with Dhruv, a 14-year-old from the USA, we are doing high-intensity drills to improve reaction time, footwork, and upper body reach. The goal is to build muscle memory so the body reacts instinctively during a match.
Dedication knows no time zone. Here are two young players from Australia, Shiv and Viraj, training with me online at 4 AM their time. We are working on bat speed and body balance through a series of high-intensity drills.
During this online session with Chinmay, a USA Minor League player, we are discussing T20-specific mindset and shot selection. We focus on how to maintain a stable body setup even when looking to hit powerful shots over the infield.
About Online Coaching in Action
I don't just watch you bat; I catch the small stuff that affects your game. If you are struggling with a faulty backlift or poor front foot balance, we will not just keep hitting balls. We will pause, break down your biomechanics via video, and use resistance bands or specific cone drills to rebuild your muscle memory right there on your terrace or in your backyard.
My Method: Root Se Fix
I do not believe in random exercises. My coaching is based on spotting the choti-choti galtiyan (small mistakes) that hold you back. Whether you are in the USA, Australia, or New Zealand, we connect via live video, and I assess your grip, stance, and balance in real-time.
Why Progressive Drills Matter
Once we identify the issue—like head falling or poor hip rotation—we use specific, progressive drills to correct it. We focus on:
- Technical Audits: Deep dives into your biomechanics using WhatsApp or Zoom.
- Muscle Memory: Using therabands, tees, and shadow practice to lock in the correct movement patterns.
- Game Awareness: Learning how to read the field and put pressure back on the bowler.
What You Need to Get Started
You do not need a fancy academy setup. You need a bat, a helper to feed balls and manage the camera, a phone with a stable connection, and 15-20 feet of clear space. We work on your home terrace, backyard, or local nets. If you are ready for bada cricket (big-league cricket), bring your effort, and I will handle the technique.
