About Girls Can Play: Our Dedicated Girls' Batch
Whether your daughter is picking up a ball for the first time or looking to sharpen her tactical game, our focus is progress. We keep our groups small to ensure every player gets individual attention on technique, but the real work happens in the huddles, where we build confidence alongside skills.
When we launched our dedicated girls' batch in Orlem, the goal was to create an environment where young female athletes could learn without hesitation. Training at Orlem Turf in Malad West, we have seen players go from their first touch to playing in competitive tournaments, and the growth we see in their confidence is the real victory.
Our training approach focuses on the fundamentals—ball control, agility, and game sense. We don't just run drills; we teach players how to read the game. 'Peeche dekh kar maar' (look back before you pass) is a standard instruction because we want our players to think, not just react.
We structure our sessions to be inclusive for all skill levels. If a player is new, we focus on coordination and comfort with the ball. For those ready for more, we introduce tactical build-up play and match simulations. Because we operate as a family, the older, more experienced girls often mentor the newer ones, creating a supportive cycle of learning that goes beyond the pitch.
We operate rain or shine, and our coaches are always present, not just to instruct, but to encourage. If you are looking for a space where your child can learn discipline, make friends, and develop a genuine love for football, we would love to have you in our next batch.
