Every one of these totes is a little piece of art I have knotted by hand in my Delhi studio. Whether you need an eco-friendly market bag or a chic accessory with a boho twist, these are made to carry your world and look good doing it.

My eco-friendly tote bags are perfect for when you need a little extra space. I take a simple cotton tote and add my own unique macrame designs, like this "DNA wala" pattern, to make it special.

This large white macrame hobo bag is perfect for a day out. It's spacious, stylish, and handmade with soft cotton cord, making it a comfortable shoulder bag.

Here's one of my upcycled macrame tote bags being used. It's a great, eco-conscious alternative to plastic bags for shopping or carrying your daily items.

This is my full macrame net-style tote bag, a perfect companion for a trip to the market. It's lightweight, expandable, and has sturdy, comfortable handles.

About Eco-Friendly & Upcycled Totes

I know what you are thinking—white cotton and daily use do not always mix. That is why I use high-quality, pre-shrunk cotton cord for every tote. These bags are completely hand-washable at home. If they get a little dusty from your market run or messy from daily use, just dip them in mild soapy water, rinse, and let them air dry. They bounce right back to their original shape, knots and all.

When I started playing with macrame, I wanted to create pieces that were not just for decoration but for real life. My tote collection covers two main styles: the eco-conscious upcycled range and the full-macrame statement pieces.

For the upcycled range, I take plain cotton tote bags and give them a second life by adding intricate macrame panels. It is my favorite way to keep things sustainable while adding that signature handmade texture. You will see my daughter's favorite 'DNA wala' pattern on many of these. It is one of my most popular designs because it adds movement to a standard fabric bag.

Then there are the full-macrame net bags. These are the ones I designed for maximum flexibility. Whether you are heading to a farmers market in South Delhi or just need a spacious bag for your daily essentials, these expand to hold quite a bit while keeping a lightweight, breathable structure. They are surprisingly sturdy because I use heavy-duty 4mm cotton cord for the construction.

If you have a specific color in mind or want a custom patch on an existing tote, just let me know. Because I work from my home studio in Jungpura, I can easily tweak designs to match your vibe. No mass production here—just pure, slow-made accessories that help you ditch plastic, one knot at a time.

Hi, I am Neha. I got totally hooked on macrame and never looked back. I make all these pieces right from my home in Delhi, with my daughter often nearby naming my patterns and my husband handling the logistics.
