Destination Pre-Wedding Shoots: Mountains and Rivers

The biggest thing to plan for a mountain shoot isn't just the outfits, it's the light. I usually suggest starting our shoot at sunrise or late afternoon when the sun hits the river cliffs perfectly, which gives those dramatic shadows you see in our gallery. Why a Mountain Shoot?

The city is great for some things, but nothing beats the scale of the mountains. When we shoot in places like Rishikesh or along the riverbanks in Uttarakhand, the environment does half the work. We use our drones to capture the massive scale of the cliffs and the water, which makes your pre-wedding film look like a movie.

What You Need to Know

We keep it simple. Our 1-day package includes a 3-person crew—a photographer, a cinematographer, and a drone or light assistant. We bring our own gear, including portable LED lights if we are shooting near the forest or under bridges. You don't have to worry about the posing because we don't do fake stuff. If you want to sit by the river or walk across a suspension bridge, we follow you.

Practical Tips

• Clothing: Mountains are windy and unpredictable. Bring a comfortable pair of shoes to walk on rocky riverbanks.
• Travel: We travel with you. The client covers the location entry tickets and outstation travel costs.
• Timing: We usually stick to an 8-hour schedule. That is plenty of time to change outfits 3 to 4 times and get a variety of shots from the riverside, forest, and mountain trails.
• Shoot Style: We mix cinematic teaser vibes with candid portraits. If you have a camping idea or want to do a picnic shoot, we can definitely set that up.
