About Our Story & The Skadoosh Family
We didn't just build a play area, we built a safety-first sanctuary. Every padded corner, our see-through walls, and our strictly screen-free policy are intentional choices. We wanted to create a place that solves a real pain point for parents in Haralur: finding a space where your child is genuinely engaged, not just babysat, while you actually get a moment to yourself.
When we were brainstorming the concept for Skadoosh, we kept coming back to one question: where can kids in Bengaluru just be kids? We saw too many spaces that were either unsafe or entirely focused on digital distractions. We wanted the opposite. We wanted a place that feels like a big, safe living room where the noise is the sound of joy, not gadgets.
Our team in Haralur poured months of effort into the details. From the initial layout planning to selecting the materials for our foam pits and climbing walls, we focused on tactile, imaginative play. We wanted to be a 'third place' for families, a spot between home and school where you aren't worried about sharp edges or excessive screen time.
What surprised us most wasn't the play equipment, but the community.
