We believe real change happens when stakeholders come together. This image captures our team during a Draft Committee Meeting for Bihar’s Female Athlete Health & Wellness Policy, a landmark initiative we helped shape using three years of our on-the-ground data and experience.
We take on the tough, often ignored conversations. Here, our Research Lead presents at the Para Sport Summit on the critical topic of menstrual health for female para-athletes, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive policies, adaptive products, and supportive infrastructure.
Our work is grounded in evidence. This is the cover of our "Play Without Pause" report, detailing the game changing results of our menstrual health pilot with 1,145 female athletes in Uttar Pradesh. This data now serves as a foundation for broader policy advocacy.
We measure our impact to drive meaningful change. This infographic shows the concrete outcomes of our "Play Without Pause" program, including a significant boost in menstrual health literacy and the adoption of smarter nutrition and training habits among athletes.
Our mission attracts leaders in Indian sport. We are honored to have two time Olympic medalist and former Indian Hockey captain, PR Sreejesh, join us as an advisor to help guide our work in grassroots development and shaping the future of Indian sports.
Athlete protection is non negotiable. This image shows our Child Safeguarding Officer leading a session for sports scientists, equipping them with the knowledge to recognize, respond, and report concerns, ensuring a safe environment for every young athlete.

About Sports Policy & Governance Consulting

Why We Do What We Do

Every day, we see how tough it is for athletes to break through. Talent is everywhere, but so are the hurdles. Har ek player ki journey itni easy nahi hoti (Not every player’s journey is easy). We go beyond just supporting athletes - we’re working to change what stands in their way.

How We Shape Change

Our advice on sports governance reform in India comes straight from the field, not just meeting rooms. We build our recommendations on what we learn through hands-on work with athletes across the country. If we push for something, it’s because we’ve seen the gap ourselves.

  • Use real data – like our menstrual health tracker or wellness program outcomes
  • Focus on what’s practical, not just what sounds good on paper

What We Focus On

Athlete protection policies are at the heart of everything:

  • Health and wellness: pushing for real support, including mental health and menstrual health in sports plans
  • Safety: fighting for tougher anti-harassment systems and gender-sensitive rules
  • Financial basics: helping athletes understand contracts and rights

We’re big on gender equality in sports administration, too. We keep asking tough questions (ladkiyan bhi kuch kar sakti hain? - Can girls also do something?) and back up the answers by fighting for more women in leadership and fair treatment for female athletes.

We also help make sports bodies more transparent and bring Indian sports governance closer to global standards.

Real Impact

Like our work in Bihar – leading policy change for female athlete wellness, using three years of our own grassroots experience and data.

What Drives Us

Our end goal is simple: a fair, world-class sports system where every athlete gets a real shot. Wohi asli jeet hai (that’s the real victory).

My Story

We started Simply Sport with a simple idea - sports is more than medals. Bahut saare bachche hain jo akela struggle karte hain (so many kids struggle alone). We saw girls dropping out, no one talking about periods or nutrition, just 'lose weight' bol diya (just told to lose weight). We wanted to change this. Now we run workshops, share real stories on 'Blue Rising', and even help shape national sports policy. For us, real success is when every athlete, boy or girl, feels strong inside and out.

My Work

What We Do - Workshops on mental health, menstrual health, sports nutrition for girls, grants, career programs, and 'Blue Rising' vodcast.

Athlete Well-being First - Not just about winning - we make safe spaces for athletes to talk, ask for help, and grow.

Backing Female Athletes - Menstrual health workshops, nutrition support, and smashing barriers so girls can thrive in sports.

Grassroots Sports Support - We partner with local groups, giving training, gear, and real chances to young talent.

Real Athlete Stories - Our 'Blue Rising' vodcast shares honest journeys, struggles, and wins of Indian athletes.
