Getting the whole family, especially grandparents and young kids, together for a photoshoot can feel like a challenge. That is why my multi-generational sessions are structured with a three-hour window. This provides the necessary breathing room to take breaks, settle the little ones, and capture authentic laughter between family members without rushing the process.
When you book a Royal Multi-Generational session, the goal is to make the experience stress-free for everyone involved. I bring the entire studio setup to your home, which means no one has to travel. This is particularly helpful for seniors who prefer the comfort of their own space and for children who are more relaxed in familiar surroundings.
Why the Three-Hour Window?
Family dynamics are unpredictable. A three-hour session allows us to work through different combinations: the full clan together, just the grandparents with the grandkids, the parents, and individual nuclear family portraits. It removes the 'say cheese' pressure. We have time to let the moments happen—the spontaneous hug between a grandfather and his grandchild, or the quiet moment of a mother holding her daughter's hand.

I use a wide lighting arrangement designed to handle larger groups, ensuring everyone is lit beautifully, whether we are shooting in your living room or a dedicated space in your house. The service includes 30 fully retouched images and a luxury layflat album. This is not just a digital file; it is a physical heirloom that your family can keep on the coffee table for years. We also include a professional video reel, which is perfect for sharing the warmth of these memories on social media.
