Real people, real moments, and the outfits that made them stand out. Here is a look at some of my favorite collaborations and the stories behind them.

It was a pleasure to design this sequined jacket for the amazing violinist Aneesh Vidyashankar for his spectacular stage performance.

About this collection

When I design for stage performers like Aneesh Vidyashankar, the outfit is not just about the look. It has to handle movement, stay structured under stage lights, and project confidence from every angle. We focus on fabric that breathes during a high-energy performance while maintaining the sharp, clean lines of a custom brocade or sequin jacket.

Designing for the stage requires a different approach than everyday wear. When I work with performers, the priority is function meeting form. A suit that looks perfect while standing still can fail the moment the artist starts moving. I factor in shoulder slope analysis and posture correction padding to ensure the jacket stays put, whether the client is playing the violin or dancing. For fabrics, I select materials like brocade or velvet that catch the light effectively without feeling heavy or restricting the performer's range of motion.

My process starts with a conversation about the event environment. We look at the lighting, the venue, and the energy the client wants to project. For the piece worn by Aneesh, we aimed for a balance of traditional textures with a modern, sharp silhouette that demanded attention. Every stitch is placed with purpose, using high-quality interlining for collar stiffness and breathable linings to handle the heat of stage lights.

Beyond stage wear, my approach to client styling remains consistent. Whether it is a traditional lehenga for a wedding guest or a tailored bandhgala for a formal event, I strip away the clutter to focus on what makes the wearer look powerful. I do not believe in following cookie-cutter trends. Instead, I listen to what you want to achieve with your look, identify the fabrics that will hold the shape we need, and build the piece from scratch. If you have an event coming up in Bengaluru, let's talk about the vision you have in mind.
