Bridal Portrait & Storytelling Mehendi
Your love story, told in henna. From couple portraits and wedding rituals to custom themes, I turn your special moments into intricate, natural bridal art.
This design celebrated a beautiful union between two cultures. I created a unique mehendi for a Maharashtrian bride marrying a South Indian groom, incorporating elements from both traditions.
For my Bengali bride, I recreated the sacred wedding rituals of Shubhodrishti and Saptapadi in her henna. Your traditions and special moments can be the heart of your bridal design.
This intricate design features a family portrait on the palm, with a traditional baraat procession scene on the arm. It’s a beautiful way to include your loved ones in your bridal art.
A full bridal arm telling a story. This design combines the varmala and sindoor ceremonies with traditional elephant motifs, creating a complete narrative of the wedding day.
This full-arm design captures multiple wedding moments. From the bride and groom's portrait on the palm to the varmala ceremony on the forearm, it tells a complete wedding story.
A heartfelt tribute to family. This special portrait design features the bride with her parents and brother, a beautiful way to express love for your family on your big day.
This is a classic baraat theme, a popular request for bridal mehendi. I can create detailed scenes of the groom's procession, complete with elephants, musicians, and the doli.
A sketch of a traditional bridal figure in a doli, set against a palace backdrop. This is where the design process begins before I bring it to life on your hands with henna.
Portrait work is my passion. Here is a mehendi sketch of a famous personality, showcasing the level of detail and likeness I can achieve in my henna portraits.
A happy bride and groom showing off their wedding mehendi. I created a full bridal design for her and a personalized logo design for him, perfectly coordinated for their big day.
About Bridal Portraits & Storytelling
Portrait mehendi is an art of patience and precision, not just speed. Whether you want your proposal scene, a two-states concept, or a family portrait, I always sketch the design on paper first. This step ensures the figures actually look like you and your partner before I ever touch a henna cone to your skin.
Mehendi is a chapter of your wedding book, and my job is to make sure that chapter is beautifully written on your skin. When you choose a storytelling design, you are not just getting generic patterns. We start with a conversation—about how you met, your favourite travel memories, or the specific rituals that mean the most to you. I take those stories and translate them into visual art, drawing realistic figures, baraat processions, or traditional ceremonies like shubhodrishti.
My focus is always on the craft. I use 100% natural, chemical-free henna. You won't find any 'quick fix' chemicals here because I believe your skin deserves the best and the stain should be rich, dark, and safe. These designs are intensive; they typically require 5 to 7+ hours of dedicated application. Because of the detail involved, I treat these sessions as a collaboration between artist and client.
Whether you want a grand royal bridal look that extends to your mid-biceps or something symbolic that highlights your journey, I bring the same level of care to every project. I am proud to be a henna educator, and every design I create on a bride is a testament to the work I teach my students. If you have a 'filmy' idea or a specific dream design, let’s talk about it. Sab kuch possible hai—we can make it happen.
