My Journey: Press Features and Mehendi Recognition
I believe 'kutlihi kala choti kiwa mothi nasate' (no art is small). Here is a look at the milestones, press features, and competitions that have defined my path as a mehendi artist.
I am blessed and grateful to have my story and my art featured in the 'Hastkala Life' newsletter and Thane Vaibhav newspaper. It's a milestone that I am happy to share.
A snapshot from my feature article. It talks about my journey, how I turned my passion into a profession, and my advice for aspiring artists.
This photo from the article captures a happy moment with a client during her mehendi ceremony. My goal is always to create designs that my clients love.
Posing with a happy client, showcasing the finished bridal mehendi. These moments are the most rewarding part of my work.
I've had the wonderful opportunity to create mehendi for celebrity clients, which has been an incredible experience in my professional journey.
Mehendi is for everyone. It was a joy to create these small, delicate designs for this little one.
Another happy client moment captured for the feature. I specialize in customizing designs to match each person's unique style and preference.
I was honored to be invited as a judge for an inter-school mehendi competition. It is wonderful to see the next generation of artists and encourage their talent.
About Press, Recognition & My Journey
My journey started in college with just a passion for designs, and today, it is a blessing to be featured in publications like Hastkala Life and Thane Vaibhav. Whether I am designing for a celebrity or judging an inter-school competition, my focus remains the same: pramanikpan (honesty) in every stroke. This isn't just about applying mehendi; it is about the consistency and dedication that helps an artist grow into a professional.
How I Got Here
It was not always easy. I started in my final year of college, not knowing where it would lead. My brother pushed me to use social media, and that shifted everything. Now, I balance professional bridal mehendi sessions with training new students in Thane and Mulund.
Why This Matters
When you look at these features and competition photos, it shows more than just a list of credits. It shows that I am deeply involved in the craft. I do not just apply henna; I teach the chemistry of organic paste making, the nuance of bridal figures, and the discipline needed to build a career from scratch.
Community and Mentorship
Being invited to judge competitions is not about being an expert; it is about giving back to the community that supported me. I want to show young artists that mehendi is a respected professional field. If you are looking for someone who takes the art as seriously as the business, I am here to help you get started or to help you find that perfect bridal design for your special day. I bring that same dedication to every client I work with.
