Professional Mehendi Classes in Mumbai
My classes are designed for hands-on learning, whether you are picking up a cone for the first time or looking to master advanced bridal techniques. We keep batches small in Matunga so I can give every student personal attention.
Here is a look at a demo session from one of my batches. I believe in showing, not just telling, so students can see exactly how to create lines, fills, and intricate figures like peacocks and paisleys.
We dedicate entire sessions to specific skills, like this detailed bridal back hand design. Students gather around to watch closely as I break down a complex pattern into simple, manageable steps.
Another one of our demo sessions in action. I cover a variety of styles, including traditional Indian and modern fusion designs, so you can build a versatile portfolio of mehendi patterns.
This is what a typical day in my offline class looks like. It's a focused, supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to ask questions and perfect their technique.
Practice is key to mastering mehendi. This was a practice day where students applied what they learned in the first 10 days, and I was so proud of their neat and fine work.
A little behind the scenes look at what it takes to get the perfect shot of our work. It shows the dedication that goes into being a mehendi artist, a story I share with all my students.
About Our Classroom Experience
In my classroom, we don't just learn patterns; we master the foundation. You will learn to mix your own organic henna paste from scratch, perfecting the ratio of clove and eucalyptus oils for that deep, dark stain. It is a critical skill that sets a professional artist apart from a hobbyist.
Our Learning Approach
I believe kutlihi kala choti kiwa mothi nasate (no art is big or small). My course is built on this belief, focusing on the techniques that transform a beginner into a confident artist. We operate in small, offline batches of 6 to 10 students at my Matunga studio, ensuring you get direct, one-on-one feedback during every session.
What We Cover
This is a one-month intensive program running Monday to Friday. We cover:
- Technical Mastery: From cutting cellophane and rolling leak-proof cones to the precise science of mixing organic henna powder, oil ratios, and stocking-cloth filtering.
- Design Styles: We work through Indian Traditional, Arabic, Gulf Rose, and Cut Work (Jaali) patterns.
- Advanced Figurative Art: You will learn to draw bride and groom profiles, elephants, peacocks, and detailed baraat scenes.
The Real Experience
Classes are held on the floor with traditional mats and cushions. This isn't just about theory; it's about simulation. You will learn how to sit and work comfortably for the 6-7 hours required for bridal sessions. We even include a 'Business Skills' module where I teach you how to set up ring lights and photograph your work for social media.
The course ends with a timed practical exam—not to stress you out, but to build your speed and finish—followed by a certification ceremony to celebrate your progress.
