This is where the magic begins. We work with a small cluster of talented women artisans in Ranipet, Chennai, who bring our handwoven leather bags to life. Each strip of vegetable-tanned leather is woven with skill passed down through generations, creating a piece that is as durable as it is beautiful.
The story of our Selena bag, one of the very first designs that put Mistry on the map. Inspired by a simple crescent moon on a calendar in our workshop, it takes over 9 hours of work across 12 individual steps to craft each one. It’s a testament to our belief in slow, thoughtful design.

An exploration of silhouette and material with our Penny Carryall bags in sumptuous suede. I designed these to be a modern, unisex classic, combining a structured form with the soft, yielding texture of premium suede for a piece of everyday luxury.

Every bag you see here is made only after you place an order. We do not maintain ready-to-ship stock because we believe mass production kills quality. When you choose a design, our artisans in Delhi and Chennai begin the cutting and stitching process from scratch. This 7 to 21 day wait is not just shipping; it is the time required to create a leather piece that is built to last for years, not just a single season.
