A happy moment from a wedding reception. I love creating looks that allow my brides to feel comfortable and express their joy freely, with makeup and hair that stay flawless throughout the event.
This bride is glowing in her orange silk saree. I used a warm, golden-toned makeup palette to complement her skin tone and the rich colors of her wedding attire, complete with a traditional waist belt.

About South Indian Bridal & Reception Looks
When I work on a bridal look, I focus heavily on the structural details that often get overlooked. This means I personally handle the secure fixing of your temple jewelry and matha patti, alongside professional saree pleating. This ensures that whether you are performing rituals or dancing at the reception, your heavy jewelry stays in place and your saree drape remains crisp without needing constant adjustments.
My Approach to Your Traditional Look
South Indian bridal makeup is not just about the face. It is about how the makeup, jewelry, and outfit come together to create a cohesive traditional look. My process starts with skin preparation that ensures your makeup lasts through long ceremonies, whether it is a morning muhurtham or an evening reception.
Makeup & Skin Prep I use high-quality products like MAC and Kryolan to provide a base that is comfortable yet long-wearing. I balance traditional elements—like sharp eyeliner and bold lips—with a skin finish that looks natural under both indoor stage lighting and bright morning sun.
Hairstyling & The Classic Jada Hair is a major part of the South Indian aesthetic. I specialize in traditional braids decorated with fresh flowers, known as Poola Jada, as well as complex updos that can support heavy headpieces like the baashinga. I use high-quality padding and extensions where needed to ensure the volume stays consistent throughout your event.
Travel & Convenience I am based in Bangalore, but I travel across Karnataka. My goal is to make the process stress-free for you. I come to your home or venue, which means you can get ready in a comfortable space without the hassle of traveling on your wedding day.
