Custom Wooden Pergolas for Terrace and Garden
Durable, weather-resistant outdoor structures built to withstand the elements, using thermally treated Thermopine for stability and a timeless aesthetic.
The completed Thermopine wood pergola at Surpura Dam, Jodhpur. Its simple, strong lines and warm wood tones complement the natural, rustic surroundings.
The construction phase of the pergola. My team carefully assembles the main frame and rafters on site, ensuring a precise and secure build.
Preparation is key. This video shows a worker meticulously sanding each plank of Thermopine wood to achieve a perfectly smooth surface before assembly and finishing.
The final polishing stage is done by hand. This attention to detail ensures the wood is sealed against the elements and has a beautiful, lasting sheen.

About Custom Wooden Pergolas
Before I hand over your pergola, my team spends hours manually sanding and oiling every single beam on-site. It is not just about the structural integrity of the frame; it is about that final sealing process that protects the wood from harsh sun and rain. We do not use pre-finished boards that peel after a season. Every piece is treated in front of you so that the finish is smooth, durable, and ready to last for years.
Why We Use Thermopine
For outdoor structures like pergolas, standard wood just does not hold up against the Delhi NCR climate. I exclusively use Thermopine because the thermal treatment process alters the cellular structure of the wood, making it resistant to warping, swelling, and insect attacks. It is stable and holds its shape even when exposed to extreme seasonal changes.
Our Construction Process
We approach every pergola project as a custom structural job, not a modular assembly:
- Anchoring: We start by securing the vertical columns with heavy-duty iron brackets bolted deep into your concrete or stone foundation to ensure the structure can withstand high wind loads.
- Framework: Whether you need a freestanding garden gazebo or an attached terrace extension, we align the rafters to balance shade coverage with natural light access.
- Concealed Wiring: If you plan on installing outdoor fans or hanging lanterns, I drill and route the electrical tracks inside the wood during assembly so you are not left with messy external conduits.
- Finishing: We apply specialized outdoor wood oils that provide UV resistance, preventing the wood from graying or drying out over time.
Customization and Sizing
Every rooftop has different load-bearing capacities and drainage requirements. I visit your site first to assess where the pergola can be safely anchored without interfering with existing waterproofing or drain pipes. We do not work with standard, one-size-fits-all factory kits. Every rafter and beam is cut to the exact dimensions of your space, giving you a tailored look that integrates naturally with your balcony or garden layout.
