About Makeup for Men
For men, the goal is a natural, 'no-makeup' look that handles bright lights and cameras effortlessly. I use HD concealers to even out skin tone and matte finishing powders to cut the shine, ensuring you look fresh for 8-10 hours without a trace of product visible on your skin.
Men's grooming is not about wearing makeup; it is about looking like yourself, but better. In my experience working on TV shoots, music videos, and weddings, I have learned that the secret is invisible application. You want to look sharp in person and flawless in high-resolution photos, not like you have a mask on.
The Process
I focus on corrective techniques that address the specific needs of men's skin. I use high-end products like MAC and Kryolan, which are perfect for our humid Mumbai weather:
- Skin Correction: I use HD concealer to spot-correct razor burns, dark circles, and blemishes. This evens out your skin tone without looking heavy.
- Shine Control: The biggest challenge for any man on camera is unwanted shine. I use anti-shine matte powders to ensure your face looks smooth, not oily, under flash photography or harsh stage lights.
