Indyvarna began with a simple question: why shouldn't Indian workwear reflect our identity? Here is the philosophy behind my work as an image consultant.

Why did I co-found Indyvarna? It's for the woman who feels empowered on the inside and wants her appearance to reflect that. This video explains our mission to make you look confident and authentic.

In this interview, I discuss the vision behind Indyvarna. We started because there was a need for a major brand focused on Indian professional wear, especially for women whose personal style is rooted in Indian crafts.

I'm excited to introduce the Indyvarna Studio. This is our new space where we will conduct workshops, host interviews, and share styling tips to build a stronger connection with our community.

This graphic introduces my dual role as an image consultant and co-founder of Indyvarna. My brand is the practical application of the principles I teach.

About The Indyvarna Story & My Vision

When I started as an image consultant, I noticed a distinct gap in the market: professional wear that honored Indian textiles without sacrificing modern corporate authority. My work is not about picking outfits; it is about aligning your external appearance with your inner ambition, ensuring that when you walk into a room, you already look like you belong there.

From Clueless to Confident

For years, I stood in front of my wardrobe feeling like an imposter. I struggled with rejection and lacked the confidence to own my space. My journey as an entrepreneur, which started at 24, taught me that appearance is often the first, non-verbal piece of communication we send to the world. Indyvarna was born out of my own 'hits and misses' with dressing for success.

The Indyvarna Philosophy

My approach is built on the ABCD model of image management:

  • Appearance: How you look. We focus on power dressing that retains your authenticity.
  • Behaviour: How you act. This is the subtle art of leadership presence.
  • Communication: How you speak. We work on assertiveness and impact.
  • Digital Presence: How you show up online.

I believe fabric is your second skin. When you wear something that aligns with your personality, you don't just look better; you perform better.

The Studio Experience

We recently launched the Indyvarna Studio in Bangalore. This is more than a space; it is an incubator for your personal brand. Whether you are a CEO, a startup founder, or a professional aiming for the next level, I invite you to join us for our workshops. We don't do boring slides or generic pep talks. We focus on practical, actionable techniques—like how to drape fabric for different body types or how to say 'no' without guilt—that actually change the way you navigate your career.
