About Our Journey & Milestones
Every order you place is a vote of confidence for a woman who has just started her kitchen business. Whether it is a daily Sambar rice or a festive Thali, these meals represent more than just food; they are the daily output of a home chef regaining her financial independence. We handle the logistics, quality checks, and packaging, but the heart and pride on the plate belong entirely to the Shero who cooked it in her own home.
How It All Started
Shero Home Food began with a simple question: why should amazing home-cooked food stay hidden? We saw so many women who were incredible cooks but never thought of their skills as a business. Many of our partners, like Selvi or Umadevi, started unsure—thinking their cooking was 'just' for family. When we tell them, 'You can do it,' we aren't just offering a platform; we are offering a career path.
The Impact of 1 Million Orders
Reaching 1 million orders is a milestone for us, but it is a life-changing event for our kitchen partners. When a customer orders a meal, they aren't just feeding themselves; they are providing income to a household. We hear it often from our partners: Intha life-eh change aayidichu (My whole life has changed). That transformation from a homemaker to an entrepreneur is the real success story behind every container we deliver.
Our Growth & Standards
From our central kitchen in Ambattur, Chennai, we have expanded to serve Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, and beyond. Despite scaling to over 2,300 partners, we refuse to compromise on the 'home-style' aspect. You won't find restaurant shortcuts here. No industrial-sized batches, no preservatives, and no standardized 'commercial' flavor. You get authentic regional recipes—Chettinad, Kerala, Andhra—prepared with the same care and ingredients as a family kitchen.
We provide the training, the packaging, and the tech support. Our Sheros provide the passion. It is a partnership that keeps the tradition of authentic Indian home cooking alive, one order at a time.
