Join Our Dedicated Pet Care Team
Because I am so committed to the quality of care your pets receive, I am growing my team very carefully. Here is exactly what I look for in someone who shares my passion for keeping pets happy, safe, and understood.
I'm excited that She By The Snout is growing, which means I can help even more pets and their parents.
When looking for a teammate, I have very specific qualities in mind to ensure our standard of care remains high.
The ideal team member must have hands-on experience as a primary caretaker, rescue volunteer, or in another experienced role.
Because this is an in-home service, it's ideal for someone who works from home and can provide consistent companionship.
A teammate must be able to follow basic training protocols as instructed by the pet parents to ensure consistency for the dog.
Following detailed instructions for walks, food, and medical supervision is a non-negotiable part of the job.
About this collection
When I look for someone to help with pet sitting, I don't just look for a dog lover. I look for someone who understands that each pet has a unique personality, specific triggers, and a routine that matters. My goal is to ensure that even as I take on more appointments, your pet’s experience never changes, which is why every team member is personally vetted by me to meet the same high standards of care I’ve set from day one.
Running She By The Snout has taught me that pet sitting is not just about showing up. It is about understanding the animal in front of you. Since I started this journey three years ago, I have learned that the most important trait in a caregiver is the ability to listen—not just to the pet parents, but to the pets themselves.
My Philosophy on Care
I am not looking for volume; I am looking for quality. Because I specialize in in-home pet sitting, any team member I bring on board must be able to step into a home and maintain a sense of calm and consistency. This means they need to be comfortable with:
- Routine Adherence: Following specific schedules for feeding, medication, and walks without cutting corners.
- Behavioral Awareness: Recognizing signs of anxiety, reactivity, or discomfort, and responding with patience rather than force.
- Reliability: Being the steady presence that a pet needs when their owners are away.
What I Look For
I require my teammates to have hands-on experience, whether that comes from their own pets, rescue work, or other professional care roles. My vetting process involves a deep look at their history with animals and, more importantly, their temperament. Are they patient? Can they handle the unpredictable nature of a rescue dog or the independence of a cat?
I treat my business as an extension of my own home care. If I wouldn't trust someone with my own dog, I wouldn't send them to yours. This high bar is why I have been able to build such a strong community in Bengaluru. I want to keep that trust intact as I expand.
