- Base: Full coverage using professional brands (e.g., Forever 52, MAC) tailored to skin type.
- Eyes: Intricate bridal styles (Cut-crease, Halo, or Smokey) with high-quality glitter.
- Finish: Matte or Dewy finish sealed with professional setting spray.
Hairstyling and Draping
- Hair: Advanced bridal updos, textured buns, or traditional braids with padding for volume.
- Flowers: Placement of gajra or roses (subject to arrangement).
- Draping: Expert saree draping specializing in Maharashtrian Nauvari/Kashta and regular 6-yard styles.
- Dupatta: Secure pinning of single or double dupattas.

Why I Do What I Do
I spent over a decade as an air hostess, so I know just how much good grooming matters, especially when all eyes are on you. My focus is to make sure you walk in feeling your best—confident, comfortable, and absolutely yourself.
Makeup That Stays Put
No drama with makeup melting or smudging here. I use waterproof, smudge-proof products, and honestly, I test everything in real life. He bagha (look here), whether it’s a humid day or you’re shedding happy tears, your look won’t move.
Your Event, Your Way
- For weddings, I do complete transformations—classic Maharashtrian with nath and bindi or a North Indian lehenga vibe. HD and 3D makeup so you look fab in photos, and hairstyles like bridal buns or advanced braids.
- Engagements (sagai) get a soft engagement look—just enhancing your features, nothing too heavy. Hair is kept chic, like soft waves or a simple updo.
- Parties and festivals? Let’s go bold—think waterproof party makeup, dramatic eyes, or special festival styles like for Gudi Padwa.

I always start with proper skin prep—CTMP is the base. I match shades using color theory, and contour based on your face shape, not just following trends. Uske peeche techniques hoti hai (there are techniques behind it) and I’m internationally certified so quality is a given.
Saree Draping, Sorted
Saree and dupatta draping come standard, and I do it all—nauvari style included. You don’t have to worry about a thing.

12 years flying as an air hostess, meeting people from everywhere, I learned grooming is more than just looking good. Confidence, that’s the real glow. So I started Shalmia Makeover Academy - a space for women to learn makeup, carry themselves, even start their own business. Amchya student ne makeup kelay (our student did the makeup) - seeing their faces light up, that's what keeps me going. Here, every woman finds her power.
