Behind the Scenes: Sangeet Choreography & Event Flow
Ever wonder what really happens before the stage lights turn on? It is not just about dance steps. Here is a look at how I manage the venue, tech, and energy to make your Sangeet seamless.
As an anchor and choreographer, I'm not just teaching steps, I'm on the floor with the guests, making sure everyone is having a great time and joining the party.
A day in my life as a wedding anchor and choreographer. This vlog shows everything from the pre-event prep and team meetings to interacting with the family and starting the show.
Another day in my life on the job. This vlog covers everything from the hotel check-in and venue analysis to last-minute rehearsals and coordinating with the DJ for the big show.
About Behind the Scenes with Me
People see the final performance, but the real work starts hours before the guests arrive. From conducting site visits at venues to coordinating the flow with the DJ and ensuring lighting cues are perfectly timed, I handle the technical chaos so you do not have to. Whether it is a quick rehearsal at 3 AM or managing sound checks, my goal is to make sure your Sangeet runs smoothly without any dead air or awkward pauses.
Beyond the Dance Floor
When I am not teaching steps, I am the one on the ground ensuring the tech matches the talent. A Sangeet is not just a dance show; it is an event production that requires precision.
My Process
- Space Analysis: I visit the venue beforehand to check floor conditions, entry points, and stage dimensions. If the dance floor is small, we adjust formations; if the lighting is too dim, I coordinate with the production team for better spots.
- Tech Alignment: I treat the DJ and light engineer as part of my team. We sync every beat drop with light cues because no one wants a blackout during a high-energy finale.
- Backstage Flow: I manage the lineup—making sure cousins, parents, and friends are ready to enter without chaos. It keeps the energy flowing and the crowd engaged.
- The 'Real' Rehearsals: Sometimes that means late-night practice sessions in your home. It is about comfort and confidence, not just perfection.
My job is to remove the stress so you can actually enjoy your own wedding. If something goes wrong, you might not even know it happened, because I am already fixing it behind the scenes.
