When we take on a custom portrait, the process starts with a conversation about what the photo actually means to you. We do not just trace a reference image. Turning a photo into a painting is a collaborative process. Unlike buying art off a shelf, a commission is about getting the feeling right. Once we agree on the size and medium, our artists work in stages. If you choose an oil or acrylic canvas, we provide progress updates—showing you the sketch and the blocking—so you can see the painting take shape.

- Oils: Ideal for rich textures and deep blending, perfect for portraits where you want a classic, heirloom feel.

Preparing Your Reference
To get the best result, high-resolution photos work best. We prefer well-lit images where the subjects are clear. If the original photo has low lighting, let us know, and we can adjust the color palette to brighten the scene.
What to Expect
We provide a Certificate of Authenticity with every hand-painted piece. Because these are original works and not prints, please allow 3 to 6 weeks for high-complexity projects. We varnish all finished canvases to protect them from dust and UV light, ensuring they stay sharp for years to come.
