About this collection
When I am working on a shoot, like with Madhurani tai, the focus is on camera-ready longevity that stands up to bright studio lights without looking heavy. For my brides, I apply that same professional precision, ensuring your base stays fresh and your traditional jewelry, like the Nath or Mundavalya, is set securely for the entire ceremony. Whether you need a character look or a bridal glow, I ensure the makeup feels like you.
My work spans across different worlds, but the goal is always the same: making you feel confident.
Why I Approach Projects Differently
For Celebrity & Shoot Work: When I work on TV sets or music videos, the requirement is technical perfection. We deal with harsh lighting, multiple outfit changes, and long hours under the arc lights. I use HD bases that are designed to look natural in person but flawless on camera. The makeup needs to be transfer-proof and precise, ensuring every feature is defined without looking 'made up' from a distance.
For Maharashtrian Bridal Work: Your wedding day involves movement, heat, and emotion. My approach changes here. While I still use premium products for a high-definition finish, I focus heavily on structural stability. This means secure hair pinning for your Ambada, careful placement of floral Gajra, and making sure that heavy Nath is comfortable and steady. I want you to enjoy your Sakharpuda or wedding ceremony without constantly worrying about your look.
My Styling Philosophy
Whether it is the traditional Nauvari saree drape for a bride or a contemporary look for a promotional event, I prioritize the 'Marathmola thath' (Maharashtrian grandeur). I do not believe in masking your features. My process involves:
- Skin Prep: Ensuring your skin is hydrated and prepped, which is the secret to a long-lasting, fresh look.
- Custom Color Theory: Choosing tones that complement your skin, the saree color, and the event lighting.
- Collaborative Draping: If you are wearing a traditional Paithani or a 9-yard Kasta, I handle the pleating to ensure it sits perfectly and stays tucked, so you can move freely during rituals.
I am based in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, but I travel across India. Whether you are hosting a destination wedding or a local celebration, I bring the same professional kit and personal attention to detail.
