About Modern WPC Louvers & Cladding
For exterior walls, I use an aluminum runner framework with an interlocking clip system. This is not just for looks—it allows for necessary thermal expansion and air circulation behind the panels, which prevents the cladding from warping or peeling during Bangalore's rainy seasons.
I focus on WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) because it gives you the look of timber without the maintenance headaches of real wood. It won't rot, it doesn't need painting, and it handles our local weather quite well.
Why WPC Louvers?
- Exterior Use: My WPC Co-Ex panels are built to withstand direct sunlight and rain. They work perfectly as facade elements to break up flat walls, or as privacy screens on balconies.
- Interior Use: The Meraki and Vivre collections are designed for indoor walls and furniture. These are scratch-proof and lighter weight, making them easy to install on existing walls without adding heavy load.
- Installation: I don't just paste panels onto a wall. I build an aluminum runner framework. This creates a gap between the wall and the panel, which is crucial for air circulation and preventing dampness. It also hides the fasteners, giving you a clean, seamless finish.
Collections I Often Use
- Vivre Panels: I recommend these if you want specific textures, like their 'Dunes' or 'Imperial' themes. They are great for accent walls in living rooms or bedrooms.
- Meraki Interior Clads: These are my go-to for upgrading furniture or interior walls quickly. They come in varied profiles and are very durable for daily use.
If you are planning to use these for a balcony, remember that we can integrate strip lighting between the panels. It changes the look completely at night.
