About Keratin Smoothing Treatments
A proper keratin treatment is a 3-to-4-hour process, not a quick fix. We start with a deep cleanse to open your hair cuticles, let the protein complex absorb, and finish with precision thermal sealing to bond the treatment to your hair shaft. If you are planning to come in for this, please block out an afternoon so we can ensure the application is perfect.
When you choose a keratin smoothing treatment with us, you are getting more than just straight hair. We use QOD formaldehyde-free products, which are safer for both you and my team. The process starts with a double cleanse to remove product buildup and open the hair cuticles. We then apply the keratin formula section by section, allowing it to dwell for 45 to 60 minutes so it fully penetrates the cortex. The final step is where the real work happens: precision flat ironing at 230 degrees Celsius to lock those nutrients in.
