Professional Beauty & Editorial Portraits
Capturing skin, expression, and creative concepts. Whether you need a clean, minimal look or a bold, floral editorial, I focus on the details that define your style.
This is a macro beauty photograph from the 'Kaia' series, emphasizing pure skin texture and a simple, natural look. It's ideal for skincare brands that want to showcase a healthy, glowing complexion.
Part of my 'Kaia' portrait series, this shot highlights the eyes. The soft lighting and clean retouching focus on the detailed makeup application, making it a strong image for a cosmetic brand's portfolio.
This image captures a serene moment, focusing on the subtle shimmer of the eyeshadow and the smooth texture of the skin. It demonstrates my ability to create gentle and elegant beauty portraits.
A powerful and direct shot from the 'Kaia' series. The focus is entirely on the eyes and the expert makeup, showing how lighting can be used to create depth and intensity in a beauty portrait.
This shot is all about color and precision. The sharp, winged blue eyeliner provides a pop of color against the natural skin, perfect for showcasing a specific makeup product or a bold editorial look.
A full-face view of the graphic eyeliner look. This type of clean, polished beauty photography is effective for campaigns that need a modern and confident feel.
This profile shot offers a different perspective on the makeup, highlighting the clean line of the eyeliner and the contour of the face. It shows versatility in capturing a single look from multiple angles.
From my 'She was made to Bloom' series, this portrait combines floral styling with creative makeup. The goal was to create a vibrant, artistic image that feels both natural and fantastical.
This serene portrait uses soft lighting to complement the delicate white lilies and shimmery orange eyeshadow. It's an example of how I blend natural elements into editorial beauty photography.
About Beauty & Editorial Portraits
I do not believe in erasing reality. When I shoot beauty, I focus on the natural texture of skin, the way light hits your eyes, and the precision of the makeup. I collaborate directly with stylists and hair and makeup artists to get the look right on camera, so the final images feel honest and raw rather than overly airbrushed.
Photography is not just about the face in front of the lens. It is about the vision behind the makeup and the lighting that defines the features. My approach to beauty and editorial photography balances a raw, honest aesthetic with professional precision.
My 'Kaia' series is a perfect example of this style. We stripped everything back to focus on pure skin texture and eye contact. There is no heavy editing involved in these frames, just clean, high-resolution imagery that shows exactly what was captured on the day. It is ideal for skincare brands that want to show confidence in their product results.
Then there is the 'She was made to Bloom' series. Here, we moved in the opposite direction. By integrating floral elements and bolder makeup choices, we created a fantasy-driven editorial look that works well for fashion magazines or commercial lookbooks. It proves that a creative concept does not need to feel staged; it just needs a clear, punchy visual direction.
Whether you are a cosmetic brand needing hero product shots or an actor building your portfolio, the workflow stays the same. We define the mood, set up the lighting, and get the result in the camera. I prioritize in-camera effects and professional lighting setups over heavy Photoshop work because the goal is to make your brand or personal style stand out with authenticity.
