When you commission a custom piece, we start by discussing your vision and your preferred metal base. Whether you want to repurpose Zari silver from old Kanjivaram sarees or prefer a specific brass or copper alloy with hand-set semi-precious stones, the choice impacts both the durability and the final look. Let's chat about what you have in mind so we can plan the right materials for your design.

Creating custom jewellery is a collaborative process. Whether you have a doodle, a reference image from social media, or just a vague concept, we begin by breaking down the design. My goal is to make sure the final piece looks good and feels right for your daily wear or special occasions.
Material Matters
I work with a variety of materials depending on your needs. My personal favourite is Zari silver, which I extract from old Kanjivaram sarees. It is a sustainable choice that yields beautiful, long-lasting pieces. For other designs, I use premium brass and copper alloys. We discuss your preference for stones as well—whether you want Kemp, spinel, Kundan, or AD Zircons, everything is hand-set to ensure quality.
The Process
- Design Consultation: We talk through your outfit, the occasion, and your personal style.
- Material Selection: We decide on the metal base and stone types based on your budget and preference.
- Crafting: I work on the manufacturing, applying the necessary plating—whether you prefer antique, matte, or rose gold finishes.
- Final Polish: Your piece is finished with anti-tarnish coating to keep it looking fresh for longer.
A Note on Care
Even the most well-made pieces need love. Every custom order comes with a care guide to help you maintain the polish and keep the stones secure. If you are in Namma Kudla, feel free to visit my studio in Kadri to see samples and discuss your ideas in person. If you are elsewhere, I ship across India with secure, protective packaging.
