The Styling Process: How Your Look Comes Together
Behind every sharp outfit is a bit of chaos and a lot of planning. Here is how I turn a vision into a final look, from the initial mood board to the last accessory.
A little peek into my world. This is where the magic starts, laying out all the jewelry options to find the perfect pieces that will complete a look. It's my version of a treasure chest.
About The Styling Process
You see the polished final photos, but the real work starts on my floor. I spend hours laying out jewelry stacks and sourcing pieces that fit your personal story, not just the current trend. My goal is to handle the logistics—like fittings and coordination—so you just show up ready to feel like yourself.
The process of getting a look right is rarely linear. It is a mix of creative vision and gritty logistics.
Building the Story
Before we ever step out, we start with a concept. Whether you are aiming for a raw, grunge aesthetic or a fusion of traditional Indian elegance, everything starts on a mood board. This is where I figure out the vibe. If you are prepping for a wedding or a high-stakes event in Mumbai or Delhi, I look for pieces that don't just look good but feel like an extension of who you are.
The Sourcing Hunt
I do not just pull clothes off a rack. My network spans from niche Indian labels to international brands. I spend days pre-selecting items and putting them on hold so that your shopping experience is efficient. If an off-the-rack piece does not sit right, I handle the custom adjustments. This includes managing the pick-up and drop-off logistics with designers, so you do not have to worry about the tedious details.
Why the Process Matters
- Accessory Curation: The right jhumkas or hand stacks can change an entire look. My 'treasure chest' of options is where I experiment until we find the perfect balance.
- Fitting Sessions: We do a physical fitting to ensure the silhouette is perfect. This is where we adjust taping, corsetry, and hem lengths.
- The Glam Brief: Your hair and makeup should match the outfit, not compete with it. I provide a guide for your glam team so the final result is cohesive.
Style should be fun, not a source of stress. Whether you are based in Dubai, Mumbai, or the NCR, my approach is to take the heavy lifting off your plate so you can focus on the big energy of your event.
