Spiritual and Mythological Sand Art Performances
I bring sacred stories and ancient epics to life through live sand animation, creating meaningful visuals for your religious or cultural gathering.
A sand art tribute to Lord Ram for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration. This piece, showing him in his majestic form, is filled with devotion. Jai Shree Ram.
A powerful portrait of Ram Bhakt Hanuman. I focused on capturing his strength and devotion in this piece, using detailed shading with sand.
Performing a story from the Mahabharata at the Surajkund Mela in Delhi. Here, I am depicting Lord Krishna as the charioteer for Arjuna.
A performance for a Jain 'Diksha Samaroh' in Mumbai. I am illustrating the life and teachings of a Jain Tirthankara for the community.
Creating a scene from the life of Mahavir Swami. The narration of the Namokar Mantra in the background added a deeply spiritual dimension to this performance.
A jugalbandi performance where I created a sand art Ganesha while an Ikebana expert created a floral arrangement. This was a unique fusion of two art forms.
A poster announcing two shows in one day: a 'Diksha Samaroh' in Mulund and a 50-year celebration for Odhavram Sanstha in Vashi.
A close-up of my hands creating intricate patterns during a spiritual-themed sand art show.
Performing the story of the Ramayana for children at a JITO Youth event in Indore. It's important to pass these stories on to the next generation.
A performance at the Surajkund Mela in Delhi. The colorful tent and large stage created a festive atmosphere for my mythological storytelling.
About Spiritual & Mythological Narratives
When I perform these stories, I use an overhead camera rig to project every movement onto your venue's main screen, ensuring that even in a large crowd, your guests see the story evolve in real-time. This synchronization between the live sand art on my lightbox and the projected display makes the performance a fully immersive narrative experience rather than just a stage activity.
My spiritual and mythological performances are designed to fit the scale of your event, whether it is a public Diksha Samaroh or an intimate community gathering. I work closely with you to understand the core message, whether it involves the teachings of Mahavir Swami, episodes from the Ramayana, or scenes from the Mahabharata.
For these shows, I often coordinate a professional voiceover in Hindi, Marathi, or English, ensuring the storytelling aligns perfectly with the visual flow of the sand. I have performed at major cultural hubs, including the Surajkund Mela and pilgrimage sites like Palitana. I also enjoy experimenting with fusion formats, such as the 'Jugalbandi' I have performed where I create live sand art alongside a floral Ikebana artist.
My setup is streamlined; I bring my own illuminated lightbox table and HD camera rig. I only require a dark environment and a projector feed to the venue’s existing AV system to perform. If you are planning a cultural festival, a religious celebration, or a community event, let's discuss how we can turn your chosen story into a visual memory.
