Embroidery is more than just decoration; it is a memory, a skill passed from mother to daughter. At Sameeksha, we keep this story alive, one stitch at a time, teaching over 25 styles to ensure this legacy continues.

It was an honor to be part of the 'Pampa - Textiles of Karnataka' exhibition at the world heritage site of Hampi. It showcased the rich textile and craft traditions of our state.

I am proud to announce that Sameeksha Studio and School of Embroidery is a certified user of the GI tag for Kasuti of Karnataka. This recognizes our commitment to preserving the authenticity of this heritage craft.

About My Heritage: A Legacy of Thread

In my studio, you will learn that true hand embroidery is as much about discipline as it is about art. Specifically, with Kasuti, we work towards a finish where both sides of the fabric are identical—no knots allowed. It is a standard of precision that transforms a simple piece of cloth into a lasting heirloom, and it is a technique you will master during our sessions.
