About Permanent Hair Curls
Permanent hair curling is a chemical process that changes your hair structure for months. I carefully wrap your hair around rods to set the specific curl size you want, apply the setting lotion, and neutralize it, so those waves actually stay for 6 to 12 months without losing their shape.
Getting a perm is a commitment, so let’s talk about how we do it here in my Andheri salon. First, we assess your hair texture to decide the best rod size for the look you want, whether that is tight spirals or loose, beachy waves.
The process involves breaking the hair bonds, reshaping them on the rods, and then locking them in with a neutralizer. Because this is a chemical service, I only use products that respect your hair health. After the rinse and diffuser dry, you get that consistent volume and texture that holds up daily.
Keep in mind that perming requires some aftercare. You cannot wash your hair for the first 48 hours after the service to let the bonds fully set.
