The nath is the centerpiece of a traditional Marathi look. When I started my collection in Nerul, I wanted to make sure every woman could wear a nath without the pain of a permanent piercing.

What to look for in a Nath

• The Design: I stock traditional styles like the Brahmani, Banu, and Peshwai designs. These usually feature a mix of pearls and stones. If you want something that stands out, look for my peacock-motif pieces or the classic pearl borders.
• Comfort: Most of the pieces in this collection are clip-on styles. I understand that for many, this is a one-time wear for a wedding or festival, so I keep the base materials like copper alloy lightweight.
• Styling: If you are wearing a Paithani saree, a classic pearl nath with a green or red stone matches best. For a reception gown or a more contemporary outfit, try my American diamond (AD) collection. It adds a bit of modern sparkle while keeping the traditional shape.
