Festival Craft Workshops for Kids in Banashankari
From eco-friendly Ganesha idols to handmade Diwali diyas, we turn every festival into a creative hands-on celebration right here in our Banashankari studio.
We wish everyone a happy Gowri Ganesha festival from all of us at the studio. Our students are excited to show off the Ganesha drawings and clay idols they made in class.
Getting into the spirit of Diwali. Our students created beautiful diya drawings and learned to make their own decorative diya holders, bringing the festival of lights into our studio.
In preparation for Dussehra, our students got busy with craft activities. Here they are making and decorating their own dandiya sticks, getting ready for the celebrations.
As part of our Dusshera camp, the children learned to make traditional Swastik and Shubh Labh wall hangings. It's a wonderful way to engage with the symbols of our culture.
For Dussehra, we held a special doodle art session. The children enjoyed coloring these intricate designs, which helps improve focus and concentration while celebrating the festival.
Here are our young artists with their colorful Ganesha drawings. We guide them through the sketching and coloring process to celebrate the Gowri Ganesha festival.
We celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervor. The children learned to draw and color the Indian flag and other national symbols, expressing their pride for our country.

About Festival Crafts & Celebrations
We don’t just watch festivals go by; we make the props ourselves. Whether it is molding clay Ganeshas with our bare hands or stringing up traditional Swastik wall hangings for Dussehra, every session is messy, loud, and full of heart. Materials are always on us, so you just show up ready to get creative and maybe get a little paint on your clothes.
Our festival workshops are about connection as much as they are about art. We believe children learn best when they are getting their hands dirty, which is why our Ganesha sessions focus on using eco-friendly clay that actually feels like earth, not just plasticine. During Diwali, we move beyond store-bought lights to decorate diyas with thread, mirrors, and paint, teaching the kids the patience required for traditional craft.
Each session at our Banashankari space is designed to be a complete experience. We provide all the materials—aprons, paints, clay, and embellishments—so you don't have to scramble for supplies. Whether it’s preparing dandiya sticks for Dussehra or painting national symbols for Independence Day, the focus is on the joy of creating something with your own hands. We often have parents join in, making it a space where creativity bridges the gap between generations.
If you are looking to get your child off screens and into a community of makers, our festival sessions are the perfect entry point. We rotate our calendar to match the local festive cycle, ensuring there is always something new to craft and celebrate.
