When you drop off your saree, I do not just fold it. I take your specific measurements—including your height and the heels you plan to wear—to lock in the pleats using industrial steam ironing. This ensures that when you step into the saree, the drape stays perfectly aligned and secure for the entire event, even if you are moving around a lot.

The Process
I start by understanding your requirements. If you are attending an event, I measure your waist and height to ensure the fall is perfect. I use industrial steam iron to create thermal locking, which keeps the pleats crisp from the first minute to the last. For the pallu, I ensure the folds are set to drape gracefully without slipping.
Fabric Handling
Different fabrics need different techniques:
- Chiffons and Organza: These are tricky and slippery, so I use rust-proof stainless steel pins to lock them in place so they do not shift.
- Heavy Silks: I take extra care with the zari and borders, ensuring the box folds are aligned properly to prevent permanent creases.
- Everyday Cotton: For these, I focus on crispness so you look sharp even for a casual outing.
Beyond Pleating
