About The Coach-Player Relationship
You might see me focusing on footwork in the nets, but the real work happens in the conversations we have between sessions. Whether it is managing pre-match anxiety or navigating a slump in form, I treat my players as partners. In this game, the difference between a talented player and a consistent performer often comes down to the mental map they carry. When I work with a player at my Whitefield academy, I am not just looking at their grip or backlift. I am looking at how they respond to pressure.
My approach is grounded in my experience as a BCCI Level 3 coach and my time with squads like RCB (WPL) and Mysuru Warriors. I have seen that technical correction is useless if the player does not trust the process or the person guiding them. We use a mix of technology, like speed radars, and traditional drills, but everything is rooted in honest feedback.
I hold sessions that go beyond the turf wickets. We discuss game awareness, life balance, and the courage to own your flight. Whether you are a U14 youngster learning the basics or a pro player preparing for IPL trials, I operate on a principle of mentorship. You bring the hunger, and I provide the structure.
Training at my center in Bangalore offers more than just nets. You get access to Astro turf for consistency and natural turf for match realism. However, the most critical facility we have is a space where you can be yourself, voice your doubts, and refine your approach without fear of judgment.
