I treat jewellery and beauty shots like fashion editorials, not static product photos. It’s all about the interplay of skin texture, light, and the product itself. I use macro lenses and tethered setups so we can review the fine details like polish and finish in real-time, making sure the final image is exactly what your brand needs.
When shooting beauty and jewellery, the magic is in the texture. If you’re a brand selling vegan nail lacquer or high-end statement pieces, your audience wants to see the finish, the shimmer, and the quality. That’s why I don't rely on generic light setups. I build a specific lighting plan for each shoot, often using macro lenses to get that sharp, close-up definition that makes the product jump off the screen.
My approach is rooted in my studio at Goregaon, but I bring the same energy to every project. For commercial brand campaigns, I use a tethered workflow. This means you’re looking at the raw images on a laptop right next to me, allowing us to tweak poses, adjust the product placement, and fix minor details instantly. You get to see the sparkle of the jewellery or the consistency of a skincare cream exactly as the camera sees it.
