About this collection
For jewelry, light control is everything. I use specific macro lenses and DIY light modifiers to ensure the stones sparkle and the metal finish looks realistic, rather than artificial or over-edited. It is all about how we place the piece to catch the right reflection.
Shooting jewelry is one of the most technical challenges in product photography. The reflective surfaces of gold, silver, and diamonds often pick up unwanted light or camera gear reflections. My process removes those distractions.
My Approach to Jewelry Detail
I use a dedicated 90mm macro lens to capture the fine details of stone settings and the weave of metal chains. If your brand is about 'quiet luxury', I use soft, diffused lighting and velvet textures to create that feeling. If you are launching a modern, punchy collection, I use high-contrast lighting and sharp props like broken plaster or glass to create a modern aesthetic.
The 'Jugaad' Factor
You don't always need an expensive studio setup to make a product look expensive. I often use simple acrylic sheets, local fabrics, or natural elements like flowers and leaves to style a shot. This adds a layer of organic texture that makes the jewelry feel attainable and grounded.
