I don't believe in stiff poses where you're just standing there waiting for the shutter to click. Instead, I guide you into natural light—often playing with shadows or using a veil to add depth—and let the moment happen. Whether it is a quiet look in the mirror or a candid smile, I want the focus to be on your expression, not just the outfit.
My approach to bridal portraits is rooted in storytelling. I treat every portrait session as a chance to capture the 'real' you, not a version of you that looks like it belongs on a generic advertisement.
I shoot primarily with a Nikon Z6 paired with 35mm and 85mm prime lenses. This combination allows me to create that soft, creamy background separation that keeps all the attention on your face. When it comes to editing, I avoid the trap of 'plastic skin.' I use dodging and burning techniques to enhance the natural contours of your face and the texture of your makeup, ensuring you look like yourself, just polished.
We will work on a mix of styles during our session. We can do classic, dramatic black and white portraits that highlight the architecture of your face and attire, or soft, glowing color shots that capture the warmth of the day. If you have specific ideas about using props, heritage jewelry, or a specific location in Mumbai, we can definitely build that into the shoot.
My goal is to deliver images where you feel confident and beautiful, not just 'photographed.' After the session, I go through a meticulous post-production process to correct colors, fix minor skin blemishes, and ensure the final gallery is something you will actually want to print and frame.
