I prefer using 18mm HDHMR boards for the core because they handle moisture well, which is essential given how much water we use in Indian cooking. For finishes, acrylic remains a top choice for that high-gloss, premium look that stays easy to clean.

- Lighting: I integrate vertical profile lighting both under the cabinets and in the ceiling. It sounds like a small detail, but it eliminates dark corners on your countertop while you are chopping vegetables.
- Storage: I focus on internal hardware. I use soft-close telescopic channels so your drawers never slam. We add pull-out pantry units for dry goods, making sure you aren't digging to the back of a shelf.
