LEGO Robotics Classes for Kids in Gurgaon
Start your child's journey into engineering and problem-solving with hands-on LEGO robotics, specifically designed for curious minds aged 5 to 8.
A first-grade student from our Tinkering course demonstrates his creation. Using LEGO gears and parts, he has built a working model of a fan, learning about gear ratios and mechanics in a tangible, engaging way.
A young student from our Tinkering course proudly shows off the LEGO helicopter he built. This project helps children understand concepts of structure, balance, and assembly, sparking an early interest in engineering.
About The First Steps: Learning with LEGO
In our Junior Mechanics course, we move away from screens and focus on physical mechanics. Students learn how gears, axles, and pulleys function by building tangible models, turning abstract engineering concepts into something they can hold and test themselves.
The Junior Mechanics Foundation is our core program for 5 to 8-year-olds at our Sector 56 studio. We designed this 24-session course to replace passive observation with active, hands-on building.
What we cover
- Mechanical Basics: Children learn how forces transfer through gears, axles, and beams.
- Structural Logic: Students build 10 to 12 working models, including fans and helicopters, which helps them understand stability and balance.
- Screen-Free Coding: Before moving to block-based code, we teach sequencing and patterns using physical bricks, establishing a strong logical foundation.
The learning environment
We keep our batches small, with only 6 to 8 students per group. This ensures every child gets 1:1 attention from our mentors during their hour-long sessions. Our studio is fully air-conditioned and designed with low-height tables to be safe and accessible for younger children. By the end of the term, students receive a completion certificate, but the real outcome is the shift in how they approach a box of parts—they stop following instructions blindly and start building with intent.
