About Personal Sanctuaries: Bedroom Designs
A master bedroom in a city flat is often a test of space, but that is where smart planning helps. Instead of bulky furniture, we use floor-to-ceiling sliding wardrobes and hydraulic storage beds to keep the room completely uncluttered. By integrating profile lights behind the headboard or inside the wardrobe, we can make even a compact bedroom feel significantly more open without sacrificing that premium, luxury finish you want.
Creating a personal sanctuary isn't just about picking nice colors. In Mumbai and Thane, the main challenge is always space management. My approach starts with a 3D visualization to ensure the flow of the room is right before we even pick up a tool.
Why smart planning matters
For bedrooms, I focus on 'functional luxury.' We use IS 710 Marine Grade Plywood for durability because humidity is real in our climate.
- Wardrobes: I don't just build boxes. I design floor-to-ceiling units with 1.5mm high-gloss acrylic or PU-coated shutters. This creates a clean, handle-less look that draws the eye upward, making your room feel taller.
- Lighting: Ceiling coves, profile lights along the headboard, and sensor-based lights inside wardrobes change the entire mood. It’s not just for looks; it’s about having soft, ambient light for the evening and bright task light for when you are dressing.
- Space tricks: If you have a small master bedroom, mirrors are my favorite tool. A full-length tinted mirror paneling can practically double the visual depth of the space.
Everything I do is focused on one thing: creating a room that works as hard as you do, but looks like a hotel suite. Whether you are dealing with a new possession in a Gated Community or a total renovation of an older flat, we handle the civil, electrical, and carpentry work end-to-end.
