Handmade Organic Henna Cones
I believe the secret to a dark, beautiful stain is in the ingredients. That is why I hand-roll my own organic henna cones, ensuring a safe, smooth, and chemical-free experience for every bride and artist.
Here you can see me preparing a large batch of over 100 henna cones. I mix, fill, and roll each one myself to maintain the highest quality, the same quality I use for my own bridal clients.
I believe in sharing my craft. This video shows my wonderful students learning the exact method I use to create my organic henna cones. This process is the foundation of good mehendi art.
About The Art of My Cones: Handmade & Organic
Since my cones are 100% natural and preservative-free, they are perishable and must be frozen as soon as they reach you. This ensures the essential oil blend remains potent, giving you that rich, dark mahogany stain that chemical cones simply cannot match. If you are planning a bridal or festive event, make sure to order a few days in advance so we can get your fresh batch prepped.
Making mehendi is my bhakti, or devotion. When you hold one of my cones, you are holding the exact same tool I use for my bridal clients.
Why Organic Matters
Many store-bought cones are filled with chemicals that cause rashes or irritation. My cones are made from pure Sojat henna powder, sugar, and essential oils. There are no preservatives, no PPD, and no chemical dyes. This makes them perfectly safe for sensitive skin, children, and those long wedding ceremonies where you might be wearing mehendi for hours.
The Details
- Flow: Each cone is rolled with a fine 0.38mm tip, designed for the intricate bridal patterns I teach my students. The paste is filtered for a smooth, stringy flow so it does not clog mid-design.
- The Stain: Because the henna is fresh, the stain matures to a deep mahogany or cherry black within 48 hours. I always tell my clients to dab a little talcum powder on their palms if they get sweaty—it helps the mehendi stick and results in a much richer color.
Storage & Ordering
Because this is a live, organic product, you must keep these in the freezer. They will last up to 6 months frozen, but will lose their potency within 3 days at room temperature. Whether you are a fellow artist needing a bulk batch of 50 or a bride prepping for your sangeet, I prepare every order fresh. Please contact me before you order so I can ensure your batch is ready for pickup in Dombivli or delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
