A look at my absolute favorite designs, from intricate storytelling portraits to fun, modern patterns. Each piece is crafted with love and super fine detail, designed to turn your story into art.
This is what I love to do most. We took a simple photo of the beautiful couple and I recreated their portraits in mehandi. It’s the most personal way to celebrate your story on your wedding day.
For a bride all the way from San Francisco, I created this unique design telling her story. One hand shows a romantic proposal under a palm tree, and the other shows a traditional varmala ceremony, connecting two cities and two hearts.
This design was so special and emotional. We created a beautiful portrait of the bride with her loving parents, capturing that bittersweet moment of saying goodbye. It’s a memory she will cherish forever.
Mehandi isn't just for weddings. I had so much fun creating this cute baby shower design for a glowing mom-to-be, featuring a mother holding her baby and a little one in a pram.
Your story is unique, and your mehandi should be too. This design was for a long-distance couple, featuring the skylines of Mumbai and California to represent their journey, complete with an airplane connecting them.
Getting you ready for Karwa Chauth with this special design. It shows a woman looking at the moon through a sieve, capturing the essence of the festival. The details include palace domes and a peacock on the back of the hand.
For those who love divine themes, I created this beautiful portrait of Radha and Krishna on a swing, surrounded by peacock feather details. It’s a classic and spiritual design, perfect for any auspicious occasion.
I love the elegance of traditional Rajasthani mehandi. This design features a royal elephant procession on the palm with a palace dome and swan motifs on the wrist, all done with super fine lines.
Let's have some fun with your mehandi. This client was a panda lover, so I created this playful design with cute pandas on swings hanging from a tree. It shows that your mehandi can be anything you want it to be.
Here is a complete bridal look, with detailed story mehandi on both arms and matching intricate designs on the feet. I make sure every element, from your hands to your feet, tells a cohesive and beautiful story.
About Featured
What makes these designs stand out is the focus on storytelling. Whether it is weaving your wedding vows into the pattern, sketching a skyline of a favorite city, or drawing a realistic portrait of a loved one, I do not just apply henna. I map out your memories. Before we start your session, I always suggest sharing a few reference photos or specific moments so we can plan exactly how to fit your personal story into the design.
I believe your mehendi should be as unique as your love story. For over 11 years, I have been moving beyond traditional motifs to create custom henna art that resonates with the bride.
My Approach to Storytelling Mehendi
When I work on custom portraits or skyline designs, it requires a specific technique. I use fine-line strokes and triple-sifted organic henna paste to get that level of detail, especially when sketching faces or intricate landmarks like the Gateway of India or a couple's proposal spot.
Why Choose Custom Mehendi?
- It is personal: Unlike standard traditional bridal mehendi, these designs incorporate elements like your wedding date, personal quotes, or symbolic figures that represent your journey.
- Quality Ingredients: I prepare my henna blend 24 to 48 hours in advance using premium essential oils like eucalyptus or lavender, ensuring the deep, rich stain that defines good bridal mehendi.
- Versatility: Whether you want a heavy, full-coverage look for your wedding or a minimal, cute design for a baby shower or festival, my focus remains on clean, crisp lines that stay beautiful for days.
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, including Thane and Dombivali, to bring these designs to you. If you have a specific idea in mind—whether it is a couple portrait, a divine figure like Radha-Krishna, or something quirky—let's chat about how we can sketch it out for you.
