About Maternity & Motherhood Gowns
These gowns are built specifically for 7-9 month bumps, using stretchy Spandex bodices so you can breathe and move easily during your shoot. Since these are rentals, I make sure every piece is dry-cleaned and steam-ironed before you pick it up from my studio in Jnana Ganga Nagar. Just a heads up that you will need to handle the pickup and drop-off yourself, so plan your transport accordingly.
Finding the right dress for your maternity shoot is about balancing how you look with how you feel. A maternity photoshoot can be tiring, so my collection focuses on fabrics that move with you, not against you.
Why these gowns work for your shoot
I use high-stretch Spandex for the bodice, which ensures a snug, flattering fit as your body changes. For the skirt, I opt for soft tulle and georgette, which create that ethereal, flowing effect when you catch the light or the breeze. What to consider when renting
- The Fit: Because these are free-size maternity designs, they are ideal for the 7 to 9-month stage. The corset-style backs or elasticated waists give us enough flexibility to adjust for your comfort.
- Handling the Gown: These are delicate pieces. If you are shooting outdoors, be mindful of the tulle skirts near rough surfaces or thorny bushes, as the fabric is light and can tear easily.
- Logistics: I run my rental studio by appointment, which means I don't have a walk-in retail shop. We do this to ensure I can give you my full attention during your fitting. Please remember that you will need to arrange for pickup and return, so choose a vehicle that can accommodate the garment bag properly.
