These are the 'Basic shapes' that form the foundation of all mehandi art. Mastering these simple lines, curves, and swirls is key to creating complex and beautiful patterns.

About My Process & Design Book
I don’t believe in templates. Before I start, we pick specific elements, like the grid patterns or floral trails you see here, and assemble them to match your outfit and the event vibe. It ensures you get a design that is truly yours, not something pulled from a generic catalogue.
My approach to mehandi is about building the design element by element. Whether it is a simple Arabic trail or a complex bridal piece, I use a base of fundamental shapes—curves, swirls, and lines—to create a pattern that fits your hand proportions perfectly.
For weddings and big events, I work with a team to handle multiple guests efficiently. We manage group bookings across Mumbai, ensuring everyone gets a consistent level of detail, whether you want minimalist mandalas or dense, traditional Indian fillings.
If you are planning for a wedding, we can discuss themes, specific motifs you want to include, and the overall density of the henna. I also specialize in baby shower designs that incorporate text, portraits, and special symbols.
Since I use only natural henna mixed with eucalyptus oil, my designs provide deep color. My team and I focus on clean application, and if the venue allows, we finish with a lemon-sugar sealant to help the stain develop well.

I am Ravina. I don't just apply henna; I build patterns element by element. Whether you need a quick guest design or a full bridal story, I work with you to make sure it feels personal, not a copy of someone else's work.
