My performance style bridges the Etawah and Jafferkhani baaz, offering a depth that resonates in both solo recitals and larger fusion setups. I have performed at prestigious venues like Mumbai’s Balgandharva Hall and at major platforms like the Bharatratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Shastri Sangeet Mahotsav.
Whether it is exploring the meditative alaap of Raag Jaijaiwanti or the rhythmic vitality of a fusion jugalbandi with maestros like Ustad Fazal Qureshi or Pt. Satyajit Talwalkar, my goal is always to create a 'swar yatra', a musical journey for the listener. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all sets. If it is a corporate gathering, a private baithak, or a large concert, we discuss the context beforehand to ensure the music fits the occasion.
I also lead the Ravi Chary Sitar Symphony for events requiring a grander orchestral sound, blending classical sitar with modern percussive elements. Every performance is an opportunity to keep the guru-shishya parampara alive, and I treat each stage as a sacred space for that exchange.
