About Helping Paws: Skills for Daily Life

Training your dog to fetch the paper or carry a basket isn't just a party trick, it requires you, the owner, to learn my specific hand signals and voice cues. After your dog learns the task at my academy, I hold mandatory handover sessions to teach you how to maintain this behavior at home. If you do not practice the cues I give you, the dog will not perform the task for you. Results are 100 percent dependent on your commitment to the follow-up sessions.
