The Art of Adornment: Expert Hairstyling & Saree Draping
Whether it is a traditional Poola Jada for your muhurtham or a modern messy braid for your reception, I create looks that hold perfectly from the first ritual to the last dance. Let’s make you look and feel like yourself, just a little more polished.
This is a traditional Udupi jasmine 'jade' hairstyle. My bride's mother-in-law dreamed of this look, and I was so happy to bring it to life. It was the talk of the wedding.
A classic muhurtham hairstyle featuring a large floral bun and a long, decorated braid. This is a very popular choice for South Indian brides.
A beautiful and intricate bridal hairstyle. The combination of fresh flowers and traditional hair accessories creates a truly stunning look from the back.
A messy fishtail braid decorated with jasmine flowers and gold accessories. This is a modern twist on a traditional hairstyle, perfect for a reception or engagement.
Another look at this beautiful messy braid with jasmine, showing how I help adjust the saree and ensure every detail is perfect for the client.
In my classes, I teach various hairstyling techniques. Here are two different styles: a traditional floral bun and a classic braid, both essential for any bridal artist.

About this collection
I don't just pin your saree, I use professional box-folding techniques for razor-sharp pleats that stay put for over 6 hours. For hair, whether it's weaving fresh jasmine for a traditional look or using extensions for a voluminous braid, I make sure every detail is sweatproof and comfortable so you can move freely without worrying about a single pin slipping.
Getting the 'total look' right is about more than just a dress or makeup. It is about how the hair frames your face and how the saree holds its drape throughout a long day. In Bangalore, our events are often long and sometimes outdoors, so I use high-end hair sprays and hidden reinforcement pins to ensure your style survives the heat.
My Styling Approach
- Traditional Hairstyling: I specialize in the classic South Indian Muhurtham look. This includes the 'Poola Jada'—I source fresh jasmine, roses, or lotus and weave them directly into your braid along with traditional Jada Billai (hair brooches). I also use hair extensions to create that beautiful, knee-length traditional braid.
- Modern & Reception Looks: If you prefer something contemporary, I offer Hollywood waves, soft curls, and messy fishtail braids. These are perfect for lehengas or gowns, using delicate accessories to keep the look romantic and light.
- Saree Draping Services: I offer professional pre-pleating and draping for all styles, including 6-yard silks, chiffons, and heavy can-can lehengas. My draping is designed to be secure so you aren't constantly adjusting your pallu while meeting guests.
