Carrying a legacy since 1963, we cater events with authentic Karnataka cuisine. Our food is rooted in tradition, purity, and taste, prepared with homemade spices and classic wood-fire cooking.

We believe in the power of traditional cooking. Here, akki rotti is being prepared on a large, wood-fired griddle, a method that imparts a unique smoky flavour that cannot be replicated by modern equipment.

A close-up of our signature Mangaluru Southekayi Huli, a flavourful cucumber curry from the coastal region of Karnataka. This dish is a perfect example of the authentic regional recipes we specialize in.

Our head cook, continuing the family parampara, prepares a large batch of food in traditional brass vessels. We wear the panche to honour our heritage and bring a complete cultural experience to your event.

My Story

We’re Rangarao Caterers, started by my father in 1963. Food is life for us, not just business. Namma Karnataka taste, ruchi suchi - that’s our heart. Feels like temple prasada, you know? Food tells stories. Now we’re even making a Kannada movie, taking our journey from kitchen to cinema. Our roots, our culture, all in every plate.
