A champion's mindset means finding a way, no matter the obstacle. This montage shows the variety in my training, from barbell squats and pistol squats to hurdle drills, building all-around athleticism.

This is what revamping your strength looks like. My conditioning includes reverse hyperextensions for back strength, TRX band push-ups for stability, dumbbell thrusters for power, and hurdle jumps for explosive agility.

A typical session in the gym. We work on everything from barbell squats for foundational strength to explosive overhead presses, building the physical capacity needed for elite karate.

The rush of a tough workout. This clip shows front squats, a key exercise for developing the leg and core strength necessary for powerful karate stances and techniques.

Ascending to the next level requires dedication. Here, I'm doing weighted step-ups, an excellent exercise for building single-leg strength and explosive drive.

About Elite Athlete Conditioning

I do not believe in generic gym work. Every set of trap bar deadlifts or plyometric hurdle drill you see here has one purpose, which is to shave milliseconds off your reaction time in a Kumite bout. If you want to stop guessing and start scoring, you need to understand the biomechanics behind your movement. Let us get to work.
