Custom Name and Date Mehndi Designs in Delhi
Your mehndi is your story. Whether it is your partner's name, a special date, or a quote that means the world, I hide these details in your design so you can keep them close on your big day.
A fun and bold way to announce your new status. This "Arpit ki Dulhaniya" (Arpit's Bride) design on the back is a popular request for modern brides.
Elegant and simple initial monograms on the back of the hands. This is a great option for engagement ceremonies or for guests who want a personal touch.
A beautiful initial monogram framed by a traditional arch and topped with a band of lotus flowers. This is the design with the fresh henna paste.
The same initial design, with a personal hashtag added below it. I can add any text or phrase that is special to you.
A name, "Vasudev," written in Hindi script and set against a delicate net pattern on the palm. This is the design with the dark, developed stain.
The same "Vasudev" name design, shown here with the fresh henna paste. You can see how the clean lines result in a sharp final stain.
This design tells the couple's love story through important dates, from the day they met to their wedding day, all incorporated into the arm design.
A creative way to include your wedding date. Here, the date is broken up and placed on different fingers, surrounded by small, symbolic motifs.
A personal reminder, "Just breathe," incorporated into the bridal design. Any quote or phrase that is meaningful to you can be added.
These designs feature prominent couple initials integrated into the main pattern on the arm and hand.
About Personal Touches: Names, Dates & Initials
I do not just fill space with random patterns. If you want a specific hashtag, a date that changed your life, or your partner's name hidden in a secret corner, I make it happen. I use fine-tip cones to ensure the lettering stays sharp and readable even after the colour darkens, so those personal moments stand out perfectly in your wedding photos.
Personalizing your bridal mehndi is how we make the design truly yours. When you hire me, we sit down to discuss exactly what you want hidden in the patterns.
How we handle the details
- Placement: Some brides want the groom's name right on the palm, bold and clear. Others prefer it hidden inside a lotus motif or behind an archway. I work with you to decide where these elements look best.
- Font choices: Whether you prefer traditional Hindi script for a name like Vasudev, or modern English cursive for a hashtag, I can adapt the style to match the overall design.
- Precision matters: I use 0.3mm fine-tip cones for all text and initials. This is crucial because if the lines are too thick, the text becomes a blob once the stain develops. My goal is to ensure the text remains legible long after the wedding is over.
Planning your custom design
I recommend telling me about any quotes, dates, or initials you want to include before we start the application. It is much easier to map out the placement when we have a rough idea of the design flow and your outfit coverage. From a simple 'Just breathe' quote to your wedding date on your ring finger, I can fit these details anywhere you like. I travel across Delhi NCR for home visits, so we can finalize the details during the booking consultation.
